Hot Toys Iron Man Blue Steel - IM 3 1/6 MMS391 - photo and video review

Just got the latest Iron Man 1/6 release by Hot Toys in my collection - Blue Steel Mark XXX / 30, a variant of the Silver Cenutrion suit. Quite a refreshing suit because of the blue and silver paintjob and the perfect companion to the Silver Centurion suit. Sculpt, articulation and overall feel is identical with Silver Centurion. Notice: there is no switch out Robert Downey Jr. headsculpt. Checkout some photos and the review.

Hot Toys Black Panther - CA: Civil War 1/6 MMS363 - photo gallery

I'd like to share you some photos of a recent Hot Toys Purchase: it's the Black Panther figure from the Captain America: Civil War movie. Lovely detailed suit they put on this figure: it's amazingly detailed with markings and segmented sections, ultra thin and thus allows a lot of articulation. Unfortunately the figure is missing a secondary portrait of the actor and some accessories - but as a Marvel collectors a sleek and yet elegant figure for your shelf.

Sideshow Predator 2 maquette repaint

A good friend of mine is a known pro painter in the predator collectible community and I asked him to repaint the unmasked headsculpt of my Sideshow Predator 2 maquette. The armor I repainted by myself going for a more copperish look with lots of drybrushing and adding more green oxidation effects. Also i went ahead and repainted the base going for a lava rock look with bright drybrush highlights - by far the best and most visible change you can see on the skulls on the base: i used mainly vallejo acrylic colors in this process.

Also enjoy some comparison photos and if you want to see the original product, please see my review here.
