A quick one - video review on Hot Toys Avengers Iron Man Mark VII. A magnificent piece.

At the end of the vid you also see a custom cape for Batman 1989 by Tony Mei ( get it here ).

Plus I scored a new glass cabinet - was lucky punch on eBay. Got it from a local Swiss folk museum seller -right next to the border of Germany. Proper German engineering on this display case. Aluminium casing all around.

Finally a new addition to the collection. This is the new Scar Predator 1/6 scale by Hot Toys . I never owned the first Alien vs. Predator figures, but from what I can tell Hot Toys put some definite quality into this re-release of Scar. Enjoy some photos and soon a video review:

Finally, finally - the Batmobile 1989 by Hot Toys arrived at my door today.  Got it directly from Sideshow Collectibles, thanks to the great customer service with organizing the international shipping. Get your Hot Toys Batmobile 1989 through this link.

A first look at this amazing display piece before we go into a short review:



Some additional info on the order / deal itself: Sideshow seems to give international buyers a discount on the shipping costs. I paid around 130 USD just for shipping Fedex. Fedex declared the package weight around 140 lbs, the blonde Fedex chic definately had problems taking this bad boy out of the van, so I gave her a hand of course. :) After unboxing the net weight of the batmobile is around 40 pounds.

Right now I have no clue what customs charged and what the taxes will cost, but expect to be another 100 USD.  So all in all this piece will be quite costly, even if you live near to Sideshow from what I've heard.
